Don't care. I would definitely trade my T/A for that challenger. If I were to ever buy a mustang, it would have to be wrapped in that style of livery, even if it were only a normal V8 coupe.

I'll post some iPotato vid with glorious sound to reinforce your decision!

I believe that is a '70 Challenger run in the 1970 season.

Such an awesome car. Makes Sam Posey that much more of a badass.

Link to all my knowledge (or lack thereof) on the subject.

For some reason I am really into vintage Trans Am racing right now. I can't find a car on the standard race grid I don't want.

Good call - actually have that site bookmarked and didn't check. It looked great going around. Obviously, Posey is a pretty big deal at LRP, so it was cool to have it running. I'm trying to post some video too.

Acid-dipped? Or were those the Sunoco Camaros?

So true - I was drooling over the Penske Camaros as well. Everything sounded so, so good and was drop dead sexy.

It was the #6 Sunoco Camaro. I didn't get a pic of it alone, but you'll see it in the video I'm uploading now.

Also were there any Titus Firebirds there?

You and me both on the Boss. No Firebirds at all - the whole class was basically Mustangs and Camaros. The Posey Challenger and a 63 Falcon (of all things) rounded it out.

Darn, it would have been awesome to have the #13 "'68" Firebird or the Tirebird tusseling with all the Mustangs.

The bigger, the better - absolutely. But I wasn't looking this particular gift horse in the mouth, you know?
